Greyhound Tales - An Amazing Story

A male greyhound being cared for while his owners were on holidays managed to escape thru an open dog park gate. It was wintertime and extremely cold. Thankfully the greyhound was wearing his coat. The greyhound started his venture on Hochelaga Street in the east end of Montreal, down thru Mount Royal Park, then headed towards McGill College downtown where he actually chased a bus. Thankfully someone on the bus called a greyhound owner and the search began. The greyhound was on the run from 3:00 pm till 9:00 pm covering approximately 35 to 40 km's. Two greyhound owners bravely refused to give up the search, one of the searchers said she sensed that the greyhound had headed for the mountain, so the two ladies headed up to the mountain. After a few hours of searching on the mountain and calling out the greyhound's name they were almost ready to stop the search when they spotted a shadow in the woods. They called out to the shadow and then slowly out of the woods came the greyhound, his tail wagging in great big happy circles. Thankfully the greyhound was not injured, the coat had protected the greyhound from being frost bitten and from being cut from the branches on the trees. So three cheers for Nelly's coat; and bravos for the two ladies that simply refused to give up on that cold winter's night and a special thank you to the searcher with her sixth sense!!

Greyhound Tales - A Miraculous Story
A little female greyhound being taken care of while her owners were on holidays managed to escape and was lost for three days and three nights. It was in the month of October and because of her unplanned getaway she was without a coat. People tried continuously for three days to find her but she was nowhere to be found. On the fourth day this little female somehow found her way back home even managing to cross Highway 401 in safety. Thankfully she was not badly hurt only minor cuts and scrapes but very tired, worn out and hungry. I would have to believe that this little female greyhound had a built in GPS System !!
